A man dressed in blue overalls with a red check shirt, straw hat and chewing a stalk of wheat walked up to the new customer. "Why hello there. May I help you?"

"A Buckskin Appaloosa, you say?" The saleyards manager said in his Western country voice. "George! George! This here girly wants a Buckskin Appaloosa! Have we got any?" He yelled out to a large tin building where sounds of horse snorts could be heard. A man (probably George) walked out of it with a currycomb in his hand. He walked up to Nicola and his work friend, nodding a hello to the young lady. "A Buckskin Appaloosa? Don't think I've ever seen one here. By the way, I'm George Manly. I'm the horse trainer, feeder, groom, well... let's just say I'm the one to look after them all here. I'm the closest one to them. I have my own Appaloosa from here. His name's Jupiter."

Bill and his son, George, turned to look at the colt. George shook his head. "I've never seen that one before." He said with a frown. "We have a few grey ones, ma'am, but no blacks." Bill said with a shrug. "That there colt has to be brocken in yet. Sorry, you can't have him. You can go to the sheds with George and see the greys, if you like."

"You have to take his mother, too. That one never leaves her foals." George nodded to the mare standing by the colt. Bill excused himself, saying something about 'free horses'. He went over to the gate and opened it, letting selected Appaloosas run free.
