Appania and her brother Urque slowly trot up to the Saleyards and into the gates. The gate closes on them and they have no choice but to go toward the old tin building where other Appaloosas can be heard. George Manly walks up to them and gives them food and water and puts them both in seperate stalls right next to each other. A sign saying, "Paired. Found wandering a public paddock. Stallion appears to be deaf. $200 for the mare. $170 for the stallion." was put on the wall between the stalls.

"Sorry m'am. You have to take them both. See the sign. It's either both or neither." George said. "However we have many more horses, all Appaloosas." He smiled. "We deliver, too." He winked.
